Freegle Open Day

Date:
Sat, 12/02/2011 - 10:00 to 16:00
Venue:
Eden Mind Five, Market Square, Penrith
Organisation:
Penrith and Eden Freegle

Penrith and Eden District Freegle helps you give away unwanted items for free - and receive anyone else's spare items.  This conserves the world's resources and helps out your neighbours.

Freegle is having an open day on Saturday 12th February in the centre of Penrith - at the Eden Mind 'Five' premises in the Market Square near the clock.

During the day you will be able to find out how Freegle works and join the internet group where all items are listed. If you are already a member, come along to meet others in the group and the moderators who run the site.

It's also a "Give and Take" day - so bring along any small items that you want to give away - and take anything that someone else has left.  Everything must be free.

The group has a new feature - you can join and use the group on Facebook.  If you are computer shy, you can also contact Chris Cant on 01931 713240 for help on joining or to ask for an item to be listed.
