    This is a free event that CaFS is running to look at the impact of the recent changes in FITs, EPCs and the Green Deal.

    The implications of the recent FITs review are enormous and are likely to disadvantage small local companies compared to national organisations like large energy companies and even supermarkets.

    This event will look at Energy Performance Certificates - what is Band C?, outline what we know about the Green Deal , and discuss options for overcoming the issues locally, and how smaller businesses can compete with larger organisations.

    Just a reminder that there is still the opportunity to attend a site visit to Highthwaite in Greystoke near Penrith this Wednesday, 12th October from 2pm - 4pm.

     

    This event offers an opportunity to see elements of the build in progress. Integrating new build into a village setting and adjacent listed buildings, Highthwaite is being constructed by Matthew Nielsen of The Green Building Site. As his family's future home, it demonstrates an extensive range of energy efficiency measures and renewable energy technologies, whilst reflecting local building styles.
