Another Freegle Open Day is planned for the same venue, now reincarnated as the Carlisle Eden Mind 'Five' Café , near the clock tower memorial on Markey Square in the centre of Penrith. They will have tea/coffee available for sale on the day.
Penrith and Eden District Freegle helps you give away unwanted items for free - and receive anyone else's spare items. This conserves the world's resources and helps out your neighbours.
During the day you will be able to find out how Freegle works and join the internet group where all items are listed. If you are already a member, come along to meet others in the group and the moderators who run the site.
It's also a "Give and Take" day - so bring along any small items that you want to give away - and take anything that someone else has left. Everything must be free. Unless otherwise requested, any items left over will be given to Mind's charity shop for them to sell.
If you are computer shy, you can also contact Chris Cant on 01931 713240 for help on joining or to ask for an item to be listed.
