Join Anthony Goode, conservation contractor and holder of SPAB's Esher award, James Innerdale conservation architect and Mike Atkinson and Tim Wells from Eden Lime Mortar on a technical day learning the techniques and application of limecrete flooring. The day will begin with lectures by Anthony Goode and James Innerdale with a look at the breathability of historic buildings, local materials used and the use of limecrete flooring in historic buildings. There will also be a discussion of limecrete flooring in the context of planning and listed building consent. The afternoon will be a demonstration of the practical application of limecrete flooring led by Anthony Goode and a look into the insulation techniques that can be used with limeplaster.
