Get involved with one of our action groups, the steering group or just help out at an event.

Here are a few of the volunteer roles we have on offer at the moment, and we’re always open to your ideas for ways you could help.

• Refreshments – help to make teas and coffees at events
• PACT Events Group – any volunteers to join this group? We plan the events and talks programme including Seedy Saturday. We usually meet monthly on zoom.
• Thermal imaging volunteers – to visit people’s houses in pairs during November to March to take images of cold spots. Full training and support provided.
• Sewing – help Mee Kuon and Katherine to set up and run a fortnightly session to help people mend and repurpose clothes.
• Nappies – we are looking for families with children in nappies to get involved in a new potential project about composting nappies.
• Fair Trade – we are hoping to set up a new Fair trade group in Penrith.
• Cycling – who is interested in doing something about cycle routes in Penrith?
• Seedy Saturday – we need volunteers to help with refreshments and with organisation on the day.
