Tackling the climate crisis + promoting Sustainability living in Penrith & Eden

The energy we use to heat and power our homes makes up a big chunk of our carbon footprint – especially if you get your energy from fossil fuels like oil, gas and coal.
Making changes to your home so that you use less energy and using renewable energy like solar and heat pumps will all make a big difference. It will also save you money on your energy bills.
PACT has teamed up with Futureproof Cumbria to offer a thermal imaging service in and around Penrith.
Volunteers will come out to your home and use special thermal imaging cameras to show you where your home is losing heat. This will help you to work out where you need to improve your insulation or cut out draughts, for example.
The service will be available during the colder months, from late October until March.
