    10-12am (meet Mansion Hse) will be a big litter pick  in Penrith organised by the Picketts Litter Group, supported by The Lions. What is collected will be in a hand pulled cart (if we can find one) on May Day and be part of Parade (3pm).Let's Keep Penrith Tidy!

    We hope to have a double pitch and another site near the tractors. A 5ft metal framed whale is being made to be covered in wire. Household plastic will be stuffed into it. This will be on a trailer and towed behind a vintage tractor 'GET DRASTIC: REDUCE PLASTIC' HELP NEEDED. afterwards the whale will be put in Eden Mencaps street border and become a topiary.

    Have a spring clean in your house and garden, and bring along all the things you don't need any more. Or just come along and take away free things that you need.You'll also be able to check out the composters and digesters available at a much reduced price from Recycle Cumbria. Judith from Cumbria County Council will be on hand to show you how they work.No large goods, please, as we have to transport whatever's left to local charity shops (in small cars!).Parking is available in the car parks outside the Old Fire Station.
