As part of Penrith’s Great Big Green Week, Cumbria Wildlife Trust invites you to Cold Springs for a brilliant morning of Moths, Minibeasts, and Muffins!
Over hot drinks and delicious breakfast pastries, we will be getting up close and personal with our local wildlife. Local expert Guy Broome will be on hand to open up the night’s moth traps, revealing the amazing nocturnal friends hiding inside.
After breakfast, grab a net and head out on a guided Bug Hunt! All equipment is provided, and you will learn how to identify your finds, understand how to record them for vital scientific data, and help us map the ‘new nature’ moving into the reserve.
